Hi, sorry I have not posted anything I’ve had a lot to think about recently, not that anyone cares lol.  If you have not seen the TV show called Apparitions make sure you do it’s very creepy and interesting.

What are demons……evil?

A demon or daemon is a paranormal, often malevolent (Having or showing a wish to do evil to others) being prevalent ( Widespread in a particular areaat a particular time) in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, and folklore.

Further information about demons.

The Ancient Greek word δαίμων daimōn denotes a spirit or divine power, much like the Latin genius or numenDaimōn most likely came from the Greek verb daiesthai (to divide, distribute).  The Greek term does not have any connotations of evil or malevolence. In fact, εὐδαιμονία eudaimonia, (lit. good-spiritedness) means happiness.

The supposed existence of demons is an important concept in many modern religions and occultist traditions. Demons are still feared as a popular superstition, largely due to their alleged power to possess living creatures. In the contemporary Western occultist tradition (perhaps epitomized by the work of Aleister Crowley), a demon (such as Choronzon, the Demon of the Abyss) is a useful metaphor for certain inner psychological processes (inner demons), though some may also regard it as an objectively real phenomenon. Some scholars[4] believe that large portions of the demonology (see Asmodai) of Judaism, a key influence on Christianity and Islam, originated from a later form of Zoroastrianism, and were transferred to Judaism during the Persian era.

Just before I go on this above isn’t my doing it’s from wiki website.

The photo below is to believed to be one of the many demons.

Buer, the 10th spirit, who teaches “Moral and Natural Philosophy” (from a 1995 Mathers edition………..creepy right.

Belial one of many demons, seen in The exorcism of Emily Rose.  Just thought I’d mention that.  By the way if you haven’t seen that move (just mentioned) it’s a must watch it’s scary as ever.

According to Rosemary Ellen Guiley, “Demons are not courted or worshipped in contemporary Wicca and Paganism. The existence of negative energies is acknowledged.

I suppose people who like, or do wicca you know the pentagram (5 pointed star) and candles, chanting and all are sometimes thought of witches.  It was developed in England during the first half of the 20th century and it was introduced to the public in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant.  So it was actually developed in are country.

According to Marge Floori from the Weekly world news there are the top 13 most dangerous demons, believe it or not:

ASMODEUS – The orgy-loving ancient Hebrew devil of sensuality.

ASTAROTH – Female demon worshipped by the Phoenicians as the goddess of lasciviousness.

AZAZEL – The demon who taught man to make weapons of war and introduced women to cosmetics.

BALAAM – Hebrew devil of avarice and greed.

BEHEMOTH – Devil said to take the form of a monstrous elephant.
